Wikipedia protesting because of SOPA’s acts against the Free Internet has said that they will be on blackout Wednesday for the next 24 hours, I think that it is a good thing to do because honestly we need more people and more companies whether they are non profit or profit should rise up and keep what is free to the people. Especially in a country like America, the internet is part of our constitutional rights as far as the First Amendment goes- Freedom of Speech-.
Its good to know that even Google is going to put up a fight against this bill that if passed there would be no more Youtube, no more reddit and anything that has to do with piracy, or copyright. So let’s all join together and unleash the best internet campaign of notice, the people in the White House are our servants not the other way around, we pay them with our tax money. The point I am trying to get across is that the internet is free and there is just no way the Country of Freedom can let that happen.
“Wikipedia, Moveon.org, user-submitted news site Reddit, the blog Boing Boing and the Cheezburger network of comedy sites plan to participate in a blackout to protest the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Protect IP Act (PIPA) bills.”
